Testimonials

Adam Khan - Headteacher
Helsby Hillside Primary School

This project is an invaluable resource.

Social media misuse is our greatest challenge affecting children's behaviour, social development, and self-esteem.

Educating children and parents is key and the resources couldn't be more relevant right now.

The lessons have enabled children to understand the impact of social media at their level and come away stronger.

“53% of seven-year-olds own a phone but have had little to no guidance around good behavior or repercussions.” Emi has brought a very challenging and important subject into the light. Her experience, both professionally and as a mum has both ignited her passion for something to be done and enabled her to offer solutions. I support her proposal to develop a strategy which will give children the guidance and support they need.

The programme is exceptional and much needed in today’s rapidly changing world. Children of all ages are being bombarded with multiple images of the ‘perfect’ way to look, behave and be friends. This curriculum resource enables school staff and families to have conversations with children across the primary age range in an age-appropriate way exploring a range of topics from body-image, diversity about how people look and behave as well as how to be safe using a range of technologies and digital platforms. The resources are updated regularly and evolve to reflect the constantly changing nature of the digital world, enabling adults to stay up-to-date and relevant. Invaluable support for school staff is included in the package which is often over-looked.  An excellent resource that complies with DfE guidance but, more importantly, meets the needs of children, families and staff alike. A must-have for any school.

It has been inspiring to see Emi working with the children at Broomfields Junior School. Her programme of activities offers so many relevant subjects that our children need to know about: real and fake imagery online, especially on social media; being a good online friend and citizen; activities focusing on children as consumers and monitoring activities online as well as an abundance of information about body image. The children loved the content and found it so relevant to their lives.

It's a great resource to help colleagues deliver the statutory PSHE aspect of online experience, safety and relationships.

Completing the full primary curriculum will enrich our young people, leaving them better equipped for our modern world
